Rotary International* will in August 2017 once again arrange a three day international leader-ship training program (RYLA) for young ”leaders to be”. For testimonials from last years successful program see below.
If you are a young professional in a business, governmental or nonprofit organization ; interested in cultural and/or markets aspects of the Nordics or CEE; ca 25-30 years old, graduated and with 1-3 years of work experience, with skills and ambitions to become a future leader, you will benefit a lot from this course.
The main objectives are to give you;
- more self-confidence and awareness of your capabilities
- an understanding of Rotary International values and ethical standards
- an understanding of cultural differences and similarities between CEE and Nordic leadership styles.
- a international network of future leaders
- a personal mentor in your local Rotary club.
We will focus on critical factors for a successful leadership i a; duties and responsibilities, the difference between a manager and a leader, motivation, ethical standards and good governance. Upon finishing the training you will receive a diploma acknowledging your accomplishment.
The daily agenda during the training will be:
8.30-9.30Theory
9.30- 14.30 Case-based training (simulation) in parallell groups
14.30-15.30 Summing up, discussions and reflexion
The training will be held in English
Price: 2000 PLN for participants from the Nordic countries and 1100 PLN for participants from CEE countries. The fee covers hotel, meals and training material and is payable once your application is accepted.
Place: Hotel Posejdon in Gdansk, Poland. The hotel is situated close to the beach and there will be ample opportunity to enjoy the summer beach as well as the lively nightlife of Gdansk and Sopot, Polands most popular summer resort.
When: 26th to 30th of August 2017 with 26th as the day of arrival day and 30th as the day of departure.
Wizzair have regular (daily) budget flights to Gdansk from many places in the Nordics.

We expect to put together a group of 30 young professionals, 50/50 male and female and representing different nationalities from the Nordics and CEE.
